pre-treatment advice
(please read through these points thoroughly before coming in for your treatment, including consultation and patch-test)

ideally, the area should be free from make-up, perfume and creams but these can be removed before commencing in most cases
there should be no active or fake tan in the area to be treated – sun exposure must be avoided for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to treatment

for hair only – avoid waxing, plucking, hair removal creams and bleaching for one month before treatment, although shaving is permitted, the area should be shaved before treatment and be no longer than 1 mm (except for patch test where we must be able to see a visible growth in order to assess area)

post-treatment advice
skin reaction can vary greatly and full details on expectations will be discussed at consultation, but be advised that it is best to avoid cosmetics or other products immediately after treatment, use of a spf 30 or above is recommended on areas that are exposed to sunlight, any heat-type treatment (including saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, massage and even strenuous exercise) should be avoided for a minimum of 24 hours after treatment.

patch test
this is compulsory before all treatments and must be done at least 24 hours prior to treatment, please ensure you have read pre-treatment advice

courses
our courses are sold in blocks of 6 where you pay for 5 treatments and receive one free. the amount of treatments you will need will vary from person to person depending on a number of factors that will be explained fully at your consultation. for hair the average is somewhere between 6–12 treatments.

the lumina can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including -

including –broken capillaries/thread veins (1–3 treatments)

pigmentation marks (2-4 treatments)

acne (course of 6)

acne rosacea (course of 6)

and is extremely effective for general skin photo-rejuvenation, including tightening, toning and reduction of fine lines around the face and neck (course of 6 for best results)

crystal clear microdermabrasion is incorporated into full general skin rejuvenation treatment, however, if vascular lesions or pigmentation are being treated this is not included but is recommended 7–14 days before commencing treatment for full benefits.
